Beach Cake Motel 
Beachfront hotel renovation on Manasota Key, Florida. Significant stormwater management achieved with the 3000 gallon underground tube tank cistern. RDC’s structural tube tanks allow for maximum water storage and reuse in high water table applications. Property flooding and erosion were mitigated, while providing supplemental water for irrigation and pool evaporative make-up. A perforated drain pipe system directs cistern overflow into landscaping, terminating at a bubble box which directs remaining storm water onto a porous shell drive. The addition of porous pavers over the cistern completed the LID retrofit of this project.

In-Stride Equine Therapy Center 
Stormwater runoff created a muddy mess for equine therapists at Instride. RDC’s innovative stormwater capture alleviated flooding and provided reuse water supply for a variety of uses. Equine assisted therapy may now be scheduled rain or shine with the rainwater harvesting system by RDC.
